Insight Theatre, A Planned Parenthood initiative, is an exciting, non-profit educational theatre experience created by, for and about youth. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Insight Theatre performs for senior elementary and high school students throughout Canada’s Capital Region.
For nearly 30 years, Insight has harnessed the energy and creativity of local youth, using it to help students make healthy life choices. In the 2008/2009 season, our troupe performed in 38 schools for over 12,000 senior elementary and high school students. The youth create our show based on the Ontario Ministry of Education’s guidelines for Health and Physical Education – Grades 7 to 9.
